Labs: Rainy Day Picture

Students must create a story from the picture given. This story is to be 2 minutes in length. The story is to be written in first person. Your story is happening to you. .Students will need to write their story (sign as you write your story this is VERY important) and translate it into ASL. The story is then signed. The story needs to include the following:


inflection of verbs with facial adverbs/mouth morphemes (use of repeatedly and continuously)

inflection of adjectives with mouth morphemes (use of repeatedly and continuously)

plural forms by reduplication

quantifiers

Classifiers (at least 3)

Concept of VERY

English: One day when I was a little girl, I look outside my window. I saw the bright sun, green grass, and beauftiful flowers everywhere. I ran to my mother and asked it I could go outside and play. My mother said, "of course!". I was so excited! I opened the front door and all of a sudden the sky became black and rain started to fall from the sky. What?! I thought! No! I will not accept this.
